Hello,
I’m Dr. Lynda J. Dimitroff

PhD, MSEd, BSN, LMHC, RN, MCHES, PCC

My Education and Professional Experience

I am educated as a mental health counselor, registered nurse, researcher, advanced certified health education specialist and certified coach.

My professional experiences include positions in mental health counseling, higher education, hospice, palliative and long-term care, and research.

I earned my BSN at the SUNY College at Brockport, a MSEd in Grief Counseling at the SUNY University at Buffalo, a PhD in Health Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling. As a life-long learner, I take and teach classes regularly.

My newly acquired mental health counseling skills complement years of my own practice in awareness, coaching, counseling, mindfulness, and noticing. I am dedicated to implementing holistic health, self-awareness, discovery, authenticity, emotional regulation, behavior management, and maximizing health and wellness for anyone with mental health challenges.

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
